Description
It is a snowy Christmas Day in 1325 and pilgrims come to Hereford Cathedral to pay homage and seek healing at the shrine of Saint Thomas Cantilupe. Thomas had been canonised five years earlier after over 400 healing miracles had been recorded at his tomb. His original shrine in the cathedral’s North Transept was colourfully restored in 2008 and remains a focus of prayer, healing and pilgrimage in the cathedral today.
